Pro Productions supplies £40,000 worth of new lighting sound and staging to the Crescent Theatre of Brindly Place, Birmingham

As for all theatres across the country the Christmas Panto season approaches fast. For the Crescent theatre it was in no doubt time to wipe the cobwebs clean and it was out with the old in with the new.

Quoting to a tight budget Pro Productions won the tender and was contracted to supply the crescents main auditorium and studio space with the latest sound lighting and stage systems. The sound included flown Martin Audio sound system with a crown amprack, various theatrical lighting including Thomas ColourScroller Pars, Acclaim Fesnels, ETC Source4 Zooms and Junior Zooms, Le maitre MVS Hazers, white cyclorama and black gauze drapes. Stage decks have been updated, the old heavy Steeldeck replaced with the new Litestructures ali Litedeck including 10x 8x4ft, 4x 4x4ft, 2x 2x8ft, 16x 2x2m, 2x 1x1 and a selection of 8 and 4ft spoked handrails.
